Hastings Beach to Bush Plus North Brother - 4 Hours

Port Macquarie is known for its extensive beaches and waterways. Its thick bush terrain stretches along the Hastings and is home to animals like koalas, deer, kangaroos and bats. Maybe, that's why we have the Koala Hospital and Billabong Zoo!

Enjoy Port Macquarie Coasts, go through the wild, rough bush and then take in the beautiful views from North Brother. After that, stop for a meal at Brewhaven Cafe. 

 

This Beach to Bush plus North Brother Trike Tour is about 4 hours.

Starting at Settlement Point Reserve, we travel along Settlement Point Road, then into town past the Marina, loop into Town Green, then onto Gaol Point lookout. Interestingly, Port Macquarie was once a settlement to provide secondary punishment for convicts who had re-offended in the colony of New South Wales. We will stop here to take in the best views in Port Macquarie, viewing the mouth of the Hastings River, north to Point Plomer and around to Town Beach. This is also a great spot for whale watching and for photo opportunities.

 

Next, we travel along the coastline, past Oxley Beach, down along Flynns Beach, then down Kenny Drive to Nobbys Beach. From Nobbys, we head to Shelley Beach through the Sea Acres rainforest canopy, then onto Lighthouse Beach to view the lighthouse and the coastline south to Lake Cathie. 

 

Travelling south down through Lake Cathie to Bonny Hills, we will stop at Grants Head at Bonny Hills to have a look. From here, we move onto North Haven, then onto North Brother Mountain and have a stop here for approximately 30 minutes for photos. Take in the exhilarating scenery or if the passengers are up for an adventure, they can try a short bush walk.

 

From North Brother we will head back down to Brewhaven Cafe at North Haven which overlooks the river for a 30 minute lunch and coffee which is included in the price. Meals are from the cafe's $10 menu.

 

Trike back to Port Macquarie.

 

This tour should take about 4 hrs and may go a little over. Starting time will be 10 am.

 

Price: $460 per tour regardless if it is for one or two persons.

Children must be above 8 years of age.

We'll provide you with safety helmets, jackets and headsets. You will be asked your size when booking this tour. 
It is always good to put on some sun screen.
